The first real challenge has finally hit, Tuesday June 11th. While driving from Zakopane to the Jasna Gora Monastery, about 8.1 km away, we had to pull over to the side of the road as there appeared to be a problem with the bus. Some of the men (Cooper, Alex, Matt, and Chet) got out to help our driver. While trying to fix the problem on the side of the road, some tried to help our driver and others were directing traffic. Luckily, a service van came along and directed us to a mechanics shop.
The mechanics shop was about 500m from where we broke down, so we limped out way there. It seems the mechanics were able to pin point the problem at first sight as they got right to work. And work fast they did. In 15 minutes the problem seems to have been fixed with the bus having been jacked up and everything fixed. Of we went to our scheduled tour of the Jasna Gora Monastery.
